The 2020 World Series of Bocce is Cancelled

Unfortunately, but obviously for saftey reasons related to the COVID 19 Pandemic, the 2020 World Series of Bocce has been cancelled. The 47th annual bocce event was scheduled for July 16th – 19th. Typically over 100 teams (both Women’s, Men’s) compete in the tournament. The organizers are well aware of the health concerns for the hundreds of players and fans that gather over the mid-summer bocce tournament and party. Here are some photos of past World Series.

Other 2020 bocce tournaments and events at the Toccolana Club in Rome, NY are listed on this schedule on the club’s website. The club boasts 15 courts and regularly hosts leagues for women, men and coed teams. Leagues will cautiously start with state guidelines in place when “restirctions are eased.”
