The Southwest Florida Bocce League is dedicated to promoting the game of Bocce among men and women in communities of Southwest Florida.  This is done in a way that emphasizes camaraderie, sportsmanship and competition in a friendly environment.

The league’s inaugural year was 2007 with 8 communities (teams). It was the dream of two gentleman, Neil Albert and Tom Betts.  In 2017 the league expanded to the maximum of 24 teams.

Each community enters one team and plays three games a week.  The league is divide into three divisions:  North, Central & South. We play a twelve week season.   At the end of the season the division, champions play for the leagues championship.

• 2017 Southwest Florida Bocce League Champion was “Bay Forest”
• 2017 Annual One-on-One Competition winner was Robert Ditommaso (Worthington), runner-up Bruce Lansky (Pelican Marsh)

• November 7, 2017 SWFBL meeting @ Bentley Village @ 9:00 am
• 2018 Pre-season games start November 3, 2017
• December 5, 2017 SWFBL meeting @ Bentley Village @ 9:00 am
• 2018 Season Starts Friday, January 5, 2018 thru March 23, 2018.
• February 6, 2018 SWFBL meeting @ Bentley Village @ 9:00 am
• One-on-One Competition games March 6th & 7th @ Pelican Sound
• Divisional Playoffs April 4, 2018
• Championship Games April 6, 2018 @ T.B.D.
• Annual Meeting April 10, 2018 @ Bentley Village @9:00 a.m.
